This program introduces the perspective of the discipline of Usuluddin regarding humanity. It further discusses the sources that Usuluddin based on the Quran and Sunnah. It content covers studies concerning al-Quran, al-Sunnah, Aqidah, Islamic thought, history, civilization, da‘wah and human development.
This programme is designed in the following two modes:
A good Bachelor's Degree in Usuluddin with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or second class honors from a recognized university. A bachelor in general Islamic Studies or other certificates with Islamic majors can be considered as equivalent to Bachelor Degrees in Usuluddin.
Candidates are required to complete the compulsory coursework prepared by the Faculty, and any electives chosen by the candidate. At the end of the period of study, a dissertation must be submitted. Upon successful defense of the dissertation, the candidate will be awarded a Master degree.
Candidates are required to complete their studies within 8 semesters.
