Must not exceed 30 years of age (for Masters) and 35 years of age (for PhD) on application date
Under supervision who are received MOSTI’s grant
The award covers tuition fees (includes registration and one time local seminar fees), examination fees (viva) and monthly stipend

MALAYSIAN TECHNICAL COOPERATION PROGRAMME (MTCP)

Citizen of the MTCP participating countries
Must not exceed 45 years of age on application date
They should, at the time of application hold a degree or equivalent qualification with at least upper second class honours, (or CGPA 3.0/4.0) for Master’s Degree with good grades for PhD programme

Must demonstrate verbal, reading and writing proficiency in the English language either through:

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Test administered by the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS)

Must be in good health, both physically and mentally
The award covers:

Return ticket from recipient’s capital city to Malaysia;
Approved tuition fees;
Maintenance monthly allowance of RM1000;
Yearly grant for books and internal travel;
Thesis allowance, installation and termination grant;
No marriage/family allowance for accompanying spouse or children
